In recent years, due to the increased heavy rainfall, problems have arisen in the traditional design of bridges with the classic HSD point drainage systems. However, the surface of the traffic must be drained in the best possible way, i.e. quickly and without problems, in order to avoid the risk of slipping. Sidewalk gutters with built-in drainage channel (curb drains for bridges) are superior to conventional grate channels or point drainage as they can receive larger amounts of water, with fewer outlets and zero slope. Enflow includes in its product range systems from synthetic materials, such as polymer concrete or from cast iron. Cast iron systems are available in a wide variety of standard dimensions, but custom-made solutions can also be offered for greater drain potential.
